DESCRIPTION

Thermal Pulp Moulding Line – Electrical Installation

Goodwin was contracted to deliver the electrical scope for a new thermal pulp moulding line at a food industry packaging facility specializing in containers and trays. The project involved the full electrical supply, equipment installation, and commissioning of the production line.

The scope included:

  • Installation of power cables and cable tray systems to support process equipment.

  • Electrical integration of moulding machinery and auxiliary systems.

  • Coordination with multiple trades in a high-traffic industrial environment.

  • Commissioning of all electrical systems to meet production targets.

Despite the challenges posed by overlapping trades and a compressed timeline, the project was completed safely, on schedule, and without incident. Goodwin’s team worked in parallel with other contractors, applying proven procedures and best practices to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the build.
